Change the look of a component

I am super new to flash and I downloaded (read paid for) the GhostWire Component (

This componenet takes an xml file as an input for my flash drop down menu and basically I can just place the flash movie in my html for the drop downs to work.

Here is the problem. I want to change the look of the button, basically I want new buttons images that I made (jpgs) instead of the ones provided in this component. And I also wanna resize the buttons. Is it possible?

Secondly can someone direct me to some links or articles or websites which teach me how to do this. Do i need to learn actionscirpt or something?

That would be skinning components... Are you on MX or MX2004, and this a MX component or MX2004 component?

I am on MX2004 and the componenet was just released, I think its a MX2004 component(

A note at the bottom says all components written in AS1.0, may be used in MX & MX2004.

You need to skin your component but it looks to be a little different as it is third party.
