Hi,

I have the need to change the field label for the UPSZone field on the logistics tab in the Macola ES Maintain customers screen. Normally I would right click on the screen to get its ID, make a copy of the original screen and then click on customize to make changes. The AR Maintenance screen seems to be a special case in Macola because right clicking does not do anything and there is no customize button on the toolbar. Because I only want to change the label I would think that there would be a table that holds the description for a field and indeed I found one called ddColumns which does have a record for UPSZONE. I have updated the description field but this does not change the label. Am I missing something here? There is another part to this question, the same field must be shown in e-synergy on the CRM page.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Steven

In ES, not all screen have screen designer, primarily the accounting screens do not have this available. Customer maintenance is one of those.

However if all you want to do is change the label, you can still do this. Go to System->Company->customize terms. (Terms in this instance does not refer to Net 30 or the like)

Enter "UPS zone" and do a search. You will find the record, and in the customize column enter whatever you desire.

I have no idea how or if this will affect eSynergy.

Thank you very much. This is exactly what I needed.

UPS Zone is not on the default crm card in Synergy. This is the next project, to figure out how to show a field that is in the database in Synergy when it has not been configured to show up.

I see that there is somthing called a repository, but have not yet figured out how to edit this to build screens.

When I get this figured out I will write it up here, and let you know

Thanks again,

Steven
