On a windows platform, how can I change the location for the user.home java system environment variable? It is eating up space in my roaming profiles. Running ver 1.3.1

Thanks

The only way, as far as I know, is by changing the java command line.

java -Duser.home=c:\\my\\new\\home MyJavaProgram

Is there a .jar file, or other script file, where default variables can be set?

Thanks

No. I'm pretty sure there isn't. There may still be something you can do depending on what java application you are running and how you run it. If you are using the Java Plugin, for example, you can set java runtime parameters in the control panel configuration tool.
