Change System Coordinator extension number

When our DR5 was installed, the ext. 102 was given to an employee, instead of the system coordinator. This has caused a problem when it came to StarTalk Flash. (the password would always have to be reset, since they would set it for VM, AND then x102 couldn't get any VM messages, since it would be reset to 0000!)
So, instead of changing their extension number, and disrupting their complex office extension numbering scheme, can I just change the default system coordinator box from x102 to something else?

Thanks!

Negative!
You must change this persons ext # to something new.
Somehow I would think your ext's are in the 200 series and not the 100 series? "1" is used allready at default eg park = 101 if so then press feature * 0 and intercom at this persons set to see the true ext number of their phone, then create a new mailbox # that is not being used but tell it that it is for EXT ?(this persons set) the mailbox does not have to match the ext number but does makes for a uniformed programming job.
I hope I make sense?

You can change the voicemail number from being 102 to something else the mailbox number does not have to match the extension number. Good luck

Don't forget Curlycord, the exts can be changed at Startup from 200 series to 100 series so it is possible that they do have 100's. However I do agree that System Coordinator can't be changed, sorry dgyde you'll have to change the persons mailbox.

Yes I am aware of that but it is so rare that out of 10,000 customers we have none of them have that setup and only one customer in the last compnay I worked for.
Sometimes customers get cofused when they hear or see a mailbox number and they just asume that is there ext number so I am making sure here by asking to make sure of the ext number because of the rarity.

Yeah, I understand that. I always warn customers about that conflict before I allow them to use the 100 series exts. But we all know how customers are when they want 100's, they want 100's. For the most part most of my customers understand, and live with the fact that they will not be using 100's or will understand enough not to use 100-103.
