CHANGE SUPERVISORS ON ACD

Please tell me what is the best way to change the ACD supervisor from one sup to another sup. Sup 1 will not longer be sup. Sup 2 will become supervisor.

Currently
Sup 1 is supervisor with BLF and all agents
Sup 2 is non ACD phone

Out and rebuild each one the way it should be for the appropriate supervisor.

yuor not suppose to jack with Sup sets, if it were me, and just a personal DN issue,I would flip the DNs, and take over the non-acd set.

You asked for the best way, the best way is not always the easy way. I don't do any changes to ACD sets.

Why wouldn't you do changes to ACD sets? There was a problem about 10 software releases ago with doing easy changes. It is no longer a problem.

To the orignial question, move the new supervisors personal DN to the supervisor phone and be done with it.

I change ACD sets all the time and have never had a problem. Of course, if Symposium is involved, I deacquire the TNs 1st.

The OP never stated what release he was on, so you cannot assume he is currrent.

Regardless of what you do, I still out and rebuild acd sets. Thats the way I learned and feel comfortable with. I can out and rebuild phones in about a minute, so its not a big deal.
