Hi all,
I have one question (concerning SMS 2.0 SP4):
Does anybody know how to change the settings for "Mobile Computer" under Systems Management Properties in the ControlPanel via registry settings ?
Problem is that by default this option is unmarked and only users with local adminrights are able to check this box.
But as our laptop-users do not have local adminrights they have no chance of changing this.
I am now looking for a way to change this via a registry key (or a logon-script or whatever).....
Any help is appreciated - Thanks !
Chris

OK, so I found out which registry key changes when I modify the "Mobile Computer" setting.
For those interested:
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SMS\Client\Configuration\Client Properties\Reserved2" changes from Hexadecimal 1000 to Hexadecimal 41000 - That's it !

I forgot something.....
Above mentioned "solution" works only on Win2000 machines.
On XP this registry key must be changed from Hex 0 to Hex 40000.....
