Hi,

What file, and in what directory do you change the server's name? (RedHat version 7.0)

Thanks

You could use the command hostname xxx.xxx.xxx to change the name without editing the file. In Mandrake 7.2, the hostname is in /etc/sysconfig/network. If not there, try using a grep in the etc directory for filename.
