Hi
We have an application that telnets into the Avaya Pabx and and modifies station details using the 'ch st' command. We have come across the following problem when changing the stations security pin. Once the Security Pin has been modified and saved the handset becomes unusable, i.e calls cannot be made and the menu is no longer available. The user has to then remove the network cable from the handset, plug it back in and then log in using the new security code.
But when the security pin is modified using the ASA the user doesn't have this problem, the handset works fine and the new pin only comes in to affect once they log out and log back in.
Any ideas why this could be happening via the telnet?
Thanks
Stephen
