Has anyone done this? - I remember adding a password to sa (SQL connection) but never removed one so it's just sa

Thanks in advance

removing sa password leaves you vulnerable to the slammer virus, and I believe the option to leave this blank was removed in sp2.

Merry non denominational winter festival!!!

Thanks for the info

When you install the service pack you have the option to turn it on or off - this customer (for some reason!) doesn't want one, but I can't figure out how to take it off? Thanks

There is a set password option in the server controller under database/SQL Security.

Changing the password directly in SQL will cause issues with some modules trying to connect to the CLS.
