Change reporting in Crystal 8.5 & SQL Server?

Can anyone shed some light or direct me to tips relating to change reporting? I'm trying to run a report and highlight certain fields that have changed since a previously entered date? I'm collecting rollup data so getting 2 identical recordsets into Crystal is no problem....Any help would be greatly appreciated.
