I am trying to print a report to a PDF converter and when I send the report using the following:

DoCmd.OpenReport "Being Processed " & mnth & da & yea, acViewNormal

the save as dialog box opens (which is fine) but the file name that I want to save is not what the report name is. I need to know how to programatically change the report's caption to what I want the file to be saved as.

Hope this makes sense.

It is said that God will give you no more than you can handle. I just wish God didn't have so much faith in me.

Thanks for taking a look at this but I figured out my problem.

You might consider posting your solution here so it might help someone else with the same question in the future.

DBAMJA, will you please post your solution. I am currently looking for a solution to change the report's caption to the file name I want it to be saved as in the Report_Open Event. Thanks in advance.

Shortly after I posted my previous post I found the simple solution to what I wanted to do. The caption for the report is pulled from a field name on a form I have open. In the On Open event of the Report I used this format:

Me.Caption = Forms!FormName!FieldName
