Change "save as" to select JPG instead of PSPIMAGE

I seldom save as to a PSPIMAGE so I check the selections and pick JPG. Can I make the first choice a JPG instead?

I use PSP9 often because it's smaller and faster, PSPX for more elaborate stuff and although I have the newer versions I seldom use them. Is there a way to make a new version (PSPX2)load small and fast?
