Change pwd in squirrelmail

Hello,

I have downloaded & installed the plugin
change_passwd-4.0-1.2.8.tar for squirrelmail.

The change password feature is now available on the squirrel mail option menu.

But I am not able to change the password.

I receive the following error:

An error has occurred while attempting to change your password. Please contact your system administrator.

Can anyone guide me on this.

You should take this to a squirrelmail forum. I use a plugin to change a mysql password, but I practically had to completely rewrite it, it was so out of date.
