Is it possible to route printing to LPT2 outside of adding code into the program? I can print fine using from the command line with in Foxpro, so I know the configuration is good with in Win98.

SET PRINTER TO lpt2
SET PRINTER ON

However, I was wondering if it was possible to change this to default within FoxPro program itself. Please forgive me if this is a silly question, I'm a hardware guy. Thanks for looking.

Yup!

Just add the 2 lines which you have above into your codes
whereever you wish the default printer to change.

A common situation is to load a dialogue screen giving a choice of printers for the user to print to and depending on the returned value 'SET PRINTER TO' the associated LPT or COM port.

HTH.
