I've searched through this forum and Visio Help but can't seem to find the answer to this simple task.

I'm trying to create a simple Master Shape in Visio 2007.

By default, when you double click a shape, the text field appears directly on top of it. How can I make this text field appear to the left, right, top or bottom of the shape?

Example, see attached Visio shape - it's a Metro stop. When you double click on it, a green, outlined text box appears to the right - perfect, but how do they do this?

Many thanks.

Figured it out.

You must the Text Block Tool to move the text box.
