Hi.
We have a number of users connecting to citrix servers using windows 2000 servers. Is it possible for the users to change their own password? The log in screen only has the option to input your password rather than change it. The user is then only presented with the normal citrix toolbar. Any ideas?

Yes you can. for PS4 in MMC under web interface configuration where is the option for authentication configuration. Under that option you have the ability to let user change password when expire or whenever they want.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. Where is the web interface configuration option in mmc? Also, do you know how to implement password aging? It needs to be set up so users' have to change their p/w once every month.

D

the click on the "authenticate configuration method" there is the option for "Explicit" on that option you will see the option to let user change password.

password aging is set at the GP server side usually on your domain.

Hi, I know I'm sounding dumb here, but I don't have much 2k experience.

You say, in "the click on the "authenticate configuration method""... is this in the mmc? When I open the mmc, through run->mmc, it's empty. Do I have to open a specific one?

Thanks,
D

sorry for the confusion but its not the windows mmc. i'm referring to "Access Suite for MetaFrame Presentation Server

Thanks for the reply.
that p/w aging worked out fine.

But how do I open the Access Suite for MetaFrame Presentation Server? Is it located on the primary domain controller?

Thanks,
D
