All our users are complaining about the password pop up box. It always comes up 14 !! days before the password change. Any ideas who to change this to so it comes up 3 days before. Any help would be appreciated. [sig][/sig]

The default warning period is 14 days. To deal with this ridiculous number you have two options:

1. On the server side, set your expiration period to 45 days so you get 31 days warning free.

2. On each and every workstation set the dword key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\PasswordExpiryWarning
to 00000003

I would suggest setting this to at least 5 days. For eaxmple: the warning starts on Friday and they don't change it right away their PW will expire right away on Monday.
