change part of an image (animated?)

HI All,

I'm really new to Firworks. Basically, I'm making a company heading from within I would like to change images in a designated area, like in a small square I want to show 3 different images at 3 second intervals.

Do I need to re-create the entire image in another frame, by this I mean the part of the image that remains static?

I just need some direction here. Thanks.

no just make the base image in frame one....then add the necessary frames (i believe it is 12fps) to fill the time frame you want to work with and then add the parts that will change in the corresponding frames
