Is there a way to delete a paragraph style and have everything in that style replaced with another paragraph style? I have imported text that uses Heading 1 for some heads, and Heading 2 for others, but I want all of them to be Heading 1. How do I do that? Do I have to go to Microsucks Word?

You know how when you delete a color and it asks you if you want to replace it with another color in the pallette? I want to do the same with a paragraph style.

You should be able to use Find/Change- Edit menu.

Make sure More Options is clicked.

Determine the characteristics of heading 2 and select them in the Find format.

Determine characteristics of heading 1 and put them in Change Format.

Heading 2 should then become Heading 1.

I'm assuming that these are inherited Word paragraph styles - not ID styles.

If ID styles, just open that style and change accordingly.

Oh yeah. Duh, I didn't think of find/change. Thank you.
