Change page load status

Hi There

I'm creating a dynamic web page for my company after running a few shell scripts from the main program.

What's happenning is - two of these scripts take a while longer to finish and hence the output does not appear on the page. This gives an impression to the user that the page has finished loading.

I would like to display a blinking message 'Page loading, please wait'. And update the status with 'Page load complete' when all the scripts have run.

Is this possible in Javascript ? Can I control, when to update the status ?

Yes, you can use javascript to achieve this. Look into the use of the onload event.
