change of DMG data using LDAP

Hi,
"Enable Wite Access" in LDAP Configuration must be checked, then you need an LDAP client to write from. I have tested some tools from netscape. (Send me your e-mail and I can send them to you.) It works but is a little cumbersome to work with if you are not familiar with LDAP terminology.
The top of your DMG tree will be the o= parameter in the search base. Like o=Acme,c=US
If you really are serious about changing DMG data from a custom application I would however recommend you to look into Directory Link. It is an API from Ericsson that is documented and ready to be included in Visual Studio, etc...

Yes , some "technical" experts in our company has said that this was possible but when they tried (it was last year ; think they gave up) the DNA server totallt locked up.
Is this what you mean with "It works but is a little cumbersome to work with if you are not familiar with LDAP terminology."
So yes please send me some tech information about this.
