I have a Option 11c with a pri connected to a 5ESS, he can call me no problems, but I can't call him! The Dch is up with no problems. The following is displayed when I have Dch message on: Also I'm using Ifc=isig on the link.

DCH 5 UIPE_OMSG CC_SETUP_REQ REF 0000001E CH 5 30 TOD 14:02:06

PROGRESS: ORIGINATING END IS NOT ISDN

CALLING #:2001 NUM PLAN: E164

CALLED #:6002001 NUM PLAN: PRIVATE

DCH 5 UIPE_IMSG CC_RELEASE_IND REF 0000001E CH 5 30 TOD 14:02:06

CAUSE: #101 - MSG NOT COMPAT WITH CALL

I was told that the 5ESS does not support private num plan, how would I change that route/trunk to send E.164 7 digits to him? Please advise?

I don't know if this will work, don't do 11s. But could put a DMI on that route, no info - just CTYP - call type NPA

You should configure your CLID tables in LD 15 and then CLID will be generated by the system depending on the table entry assigned to each DN key.

Here is an example:

ENTRY 0
HNTN 301 <---- Your NPA here
ESA_HLCL 555 <---- Your NXX here for ESA calls
ESA_INHN YES
ESA_APDN YES
HLCL 555 <---- Your NXX here for all other calls
DIDN YES <---- Is the HNTN+HLCL+DN your DID?
HLOC
LSC
CLASS_FMT D

This example will construct a 10 digit CLID consisting of the NPA + NXX + DN (4 digit).
