change nls_language within query?

Hello all, I am new on this forum.

Please somebody help me with this:

I want to display weekday's name in a query with a different nsl_language attribute than settings are. Is this possible. I know that alter session set nsl_language=language can do this, but if i want to change this in a single query in execution time????
