I go to smit tcpip further config static route list all route. I see 3 default gateway how can I change them.

looks like this.

Default 192.168.0.1 UG 3 en2
Default 160.0.160.10 UG 3 en2
Default 160.0.160.10 UG 3 en2
Then there are other that I put in.
My question is how do I change the default ones as I know I can delete the ones that I made.

This is for a p620 risc box 5.3 aix

thank you for your help.

There should be only one default route.
What I'd do is delete all three routes and re-add just the one I need.

The problem here is that you have 2 identical default routes (160.0.160.10), so you may have some problems deleting it with "route delete".

Once I had something similar, I had 2 identical default routes, I tried to delete them from smitty tcpip --> further configuration --> static routes and with the command route delete, but in both cases it gave me an error.

I restarted the machine and both routes were gone, but I don't now if something I did solved the problem.

hi call

Use mktcpip command

There is the Alias on the en0 ?

biondo68

Try removing the en2 using rmdev and then run cfgmgr!

rmdev -dl en2

cfgmgr

I think you will need to be connected to the machine directly.

You can add the default gateway by then!

Khalid
