Brand new to Sharepoint and am trying to roll out my first portal. I'd like the portal to open to My Site with Links, Calendar and Inbox as the default web parts instead of RSS feed and the other settings. I'm logged in with my sharepoint admin account, and am editing the page that says shared version and clicked on the link to set as default home page. When I exit edit mode, the sharepoint admin's page is modified, but if I log in with a new user account, I get the old page with the RSS etc. I'd appreciate a nudge in the right direction to get the default web parts changed.
