I had a problem with my color dept and when I corrected it my monitor display setting was at 800 X 600 instead of 640 X 480. I corrected it in settings but it won't change on my screen. It still reads 800 X 600 in my 3s LCD settings. Do you have any suggestions. Thank you. Smitty

Did you click on "APPLY" before you clicked on "OK"?

did you click on ADVANCED PROPERTIES and check out the MONITOR tab for something like "apply on suspend/resume" (or something) boxes? I've found a lot of these types of problems are in the video drivers. Another thing you can try is to delete the video drivers and then reboot the computer. If you don't have the drivers already on a disk you can download the latest drivers from the website (either the computer's website if it's something like Compaq or Dell or something of that nature) or go to the video cards website and look for the upgrades. Note where you save the drivers and when you reboot your computer you can direct the "Setup Wizard" to go to that directory to load the latest drivers. I clicked on apply when it lit up. Everything is back to normal except the font. The LCD in the s3 tab still reads the 800 X 600. Everything else is Ok. Any other suggestions?
