i prt the dn and it just lists a bunch of tn's.
whcih are the users phones in the queue.

ok i know i jsut need to change the murt from 50 to 10

So just enter Q (xxxx) you wish to change and then hit enter until you reach MURT prompt, enter 10 (New Music Route), then keep hitting enter until your back to REQ prompt.

No need to disable Queue, this can be done realtime.

In LD 20, when you print the DNB, all the TN's that you see under the ACDN are the sets associated with that queue.

eddie, exactly what i was getting. didn't know you had to do ld 23 for acd.

hard being the new guy.

moss,

thanks for the help with that. i was worried about messing up the acd.

Another thing to remember. If you need to make a change to an ACD set, you will need to out it and incorporate your changes when you rebuild the set. Any easy changes to an ACD set can potentially cause corruption. Just a rule of thumb we all go by. Doesn't mean you have to out the ACD itself, just the sets associated.

Stick with this forum to get your questions answered and best practices. You'll learn quite a bit here!

okay i changed the murt and punched the music down to the tn and got it goin. had to remove the voice box but it works. thanks for everyones assistance!

i already have learned so much here. its cool that most people will assist you and get you steered in the right path. all the tips people have given me have greatly improved my knowledge of the switch here.

ok new problem.. actuall i have been having this issue on multiple mus lines where they go dead then come back alive with music sporadically... what causes this???

here is a prt of acd, voice recordbox then the actual mus tn.

loss of Music is probably not the switch but your connection or your music source.

You can connect a butt set to you connecting and see if music is playing if not - cable or source problem if yes and you dial ACOD and not playing on switch may be line card

i have connected the butt set and it works just fine. This is on two different moh sets and they both go out at same time. sorry to ask but what exactly is the line card?

thanks

universal trk card that the Music ports are conected to

Dial the ACOD of route to see if playing. The sets when using hold are also using a Conf port. If you hear Music when dialing ACOD but not on phones on hold - would suspect conf pack

i love the search feature... btw, johnpoole is the man!! X1 on the targ fixed my busy signal on my acod.

thanks for all the help peeps!
