change movie-item-focus with TAB?????

Hellow u all,

Perhaps this is a bit of a weird question, i hope someone can help me out.

I need to place a movie in a frame of a HTML page. Other frames contain HTML-parts like links, buttons and normal text. When i use the 'TAB' button, i can jump from HTML-item to HTML-item but when the focus 'arives' at the frame containing the flash movie, i get stuck in a loop. The focus loops endlessly through a specific group of movie-items.

What's the story behind this behavior?...is it possible to prevent the looping, controle the 'focus-sequence' and/or perhaps send out a value through a variable, telling some ASP-code which movie-item has the focus?......


All tips are very welcome. (I'm a bit of a novice so don't shoot me for any silly mistakes...)

Thenx for the thread-tip. Really usefull (and it told me i need to return to the book, i still make too many silly mistakes...) but what i still can't get to work is the following.

What is your flashmovie is is a part of an HTML/frame-based webpage.

Using TAB to skip the focus through the individual part worx like a charm, i enter the flash movie and now i know how to dictate the following order of the focus on the items in the flash movie,..but how does the focus leave the flash movie????
How does the focus continue out of the flash movie and onto other HTML/frame-based page items on the page?...

(...and now of to find some good book on ActionScripting!!!)
