change mm/yy to spell out month 2

I am making a report for april invoices. In the title I would like the month to be spelled out - ie: april 04 not 04/01/04. I query the dates to pull up all april invoices. If i put 'idate' field in title, it shows up as 04/xx/04 (what ever the first invoice date is).

In the report title, include
Format([idate],"mmmm dd, yyyy")

Your title should be an unbound text box, and the control source would be something such as...
="Invoice for " & Format([idate],"mmmm dd, yyyy")

Hi,

Set the contolsource of the textbox to the following

=Format$([YourDateFiled],"mmmm yyyy",0,0)

Change bold part to field name
