We recently removed the pbx and octel from an office and routed those extensions to a pbx and octel in another office. I need to change the node for the old office to allow my octel to route messages to the octel in the new office. The old office used 4 digit dialing and the new one uses 5 digit dialing. I can change everything on the node profile page except the "Number of Digits in a Mailbox". Is there anyway to make this change or do I have to delete the node and add it back with the new information.?

I think you have to delete the node and rebuild it to change the number of digits.

Yes you do have to delete is that is the one thing that can't be changed.

You should just disable it and remove the routing from it before you delete it. It can take 5 hours to delete it so add the new one and then remove the old one later

Thanks everyone. I was afraid of that but that is great info about the time to delete. I will creat the new one and delete the old one the next time we do weekend maintenance. Thanks again.
