You may recall this screen when you logon to a Definity switch:

This system is restricted to authorized users
for legitimate business purposes. Unauthorized
access is a criminal violation of the law.

We are in the midst of a data freeze (moratorium) period between blowbacks while Avaya converts our switches to five-digit dialing.

I'd love to change the opening screen to display something to the effect of

"Please remember to manually log any changes made...."

Any ideas, besides the bulletin board?

Thanks!
Rob

What do you think to input this warning message into your terminal program icon text on the computers desk top, and the same text for all other users?
No way to change Avaya's warning.

Most anything can be changed for a price. Avaya can go in and change that for u, but I think any basic change of software starts at $20 grand. Many 'green' features such as caller id to audix started by one pbx owner that wanted it so the software was changed just for them, they provided to all later. U said that u didn't want to use bullitin board, but did u know if Avaya changes the bullitin board it will pop up that there is priority message in the bullitin board? Maybe this would remind users of your message.

David

P.S. A message to all,if you want to get the best response to a question, please read FAQ222-2244 first. Also give the type & version of your voice mail & pbx system & preview your post to make sure it is complete & understandable. Be aware that if u don't answer a question, I usually will not continue to help u.

...bulletin board priority message warning will disappeared after a command and will not repeated.
Without that warning, you can forget to save your next change form :)
If you are using DSA you can try to insert short warning text in Switch Name on Tree...

init login can put in a priority message in the bulletin board. not sure about any of the other avaya logins. i do know that super-user logins cannot.
