Hi all,
Search is not working still, so I have another one. How do you change the login name for dbo? I want the dbo account to carry the sa login. I created the database under my login and it is now dbo's login.

regards,
Bill

Nevermind. I had run the EXEC sp_changedbowner 'sa', and it did not appear to work. I have restarted the db and it shows correctly now.

You don't have to restart the SQL Server for the change to take effect. You do need to force a refresh of the users list in Enterprise Manager. EM caches a lot of information, so infomation like the users lists can be out of date if you aren't careful. You are better off querying the sysusers table directly to see what the mappings are.
