Hello All,

How do you change the IP address (plus subnet mask and default gateway) on an STMI-X (for SIP Trunking).
The second LAN port is already set as an admin port so changing the LAN1 (eth0 ?) address won't break access.

Could it be done via downloading the LAN1 config XML, amending, uploading then resetting the card?
Have Terminal Access to the card.

I looked in the terminal but was only seeing IPv6 addresses against eth ports when LAN1 has a IPv4 address.

Thanks.

If this is a 4000 it's done via the AMO CGWB
REG-CGWB;

Thanks SBCSU,

Yes, it's they are 4000 V10's.
Thought there was somewhere it needed to be changed on the card itself.

Log on via Comwin
Do 'macro - retreive system variant'
REG-CGWB: PEN OF CARD
Right mouse click on the first line - MML edit
Do the dropdown list to change then click on 'paste from value buffer'
Then do your changes - include Subnet and Gateway if changed.
You'll have to reset the card of course

No problemo,
As you probably know there is loadware on the card but also an operating system.
These need to be updated via the Assistant - Gateway Manager etc.
