You need cable NTAK19 plugged into the corresponding CP PM card slot port on the rear of the shelf. Use the cable labeled Port 0, plug it into a working terminal at 96-N-1. If you have the SS software compact flash, insert it in the front faceplate and press the RST button. The SS will be out of service so make sure it is done at a good time. When the System Boot up page comes up, you'll be promped to boot from the Flah drive or the Hard drive. Choose the Flash drive. (this might happen twice) so look for it. Answer the couple of quuestions until you come up to the Main Menu. At that point, choose "To perform basic Signaling Server configuration only" choice. Answer the questions pertaining to your type of SS until you come up to the page to define the IP addreses. Take it from there.
If you do not have the SS software, follow the procedures on 553-3041-210 for Rls 5.0 page 169. You can also check NN43041-310 page 191. Hope this helps ... good luck.
