Hi,

Does anyone know how to change the IP address of a network element/node in Enterprise Manager/OPS Manager without having to delete it and re-create it ?

In both respective fields in Enterprise Manager and Ops Manager the field is read-only.

Is is possible to change ? Any help greatly welcomed !

Thanks

Delete in Eman
Add New node in Eman
Synch to OPSman

This is the way to do it....

Thanks for your reply FrancoisOuimet - Have you tried that method successfully yourself ?

Is there not anything that links the two entries in Ops Manager & Enterprise Manager - like a unique identifier ? I thought the method above was the only way to do it but was advised that this was not the case by someone claiming to have worked as Mitel 3rd Line and that someone from Mitel would have to make the change... But stopped short of telling me how they would do it !

Is there any other way of making this change that anyone is aware of ?

Francois is correct. Simply delete the old entry and recreate it. Sync to OPSMAN.
