Our main number xxx-xxx-xxxx rings on DN 8100 and I wanted to change it to ring on DN 8107. I've changed all the references in the SRG that they have onsite but it didn't change. Everything homes into the CS1000 and i'm thinking I need to make a programming change on the CS1000.

Comments?

just doing some more research and looks like I have to change the FTR DCFW on the phantom TN on the CS1000.

What load do i need to be in to make changes to phantom tn's?

Thanks .. i figured it out

This is currently how I programmed the phone. This is for the new receptionist.

KEY 00 SCR 8107 6 MARP
01 SCR 8110 0

Below is the old receptionist programming. How to I get the D and the MARP on the KEY 01 on the first phone?

00 SCR 8100 6 MARP
01 SCR 8110 D MARP

Enter: KEY 01 SCR 8110 D
Then when MARP is prompted, type the word "yes"

If you have a DID coming in, I don't think changing the DN appearance on a phone will do what you want, if I am reading your question correctly.

I understand not disclosing your exact number, but -- are we speaking of a toll free number? Or is it a DID? If a DID, does it end in 8107?

If a toll free, it is likely pointed to xxx-xxx-8107. You will need to contact your carrier and have it redirected to the other number.

If it's a DID ending in 8107, you are essentially changing your published incoming number -- the extension 8107 is only aligning with the DID external.

Otherwise, you probably have an IDC (incoming digit translation) table that converts whatever DID number comes into your business to an internal extension.

no its a 2388 number. There was a phantom TN created on the cs1000 which redirected to 8100 .. i changed it there and it worked. Thanks guys for all the help.
