Has anyone found a method or property call that allows you to change these via a macro. I can set users up and set their userclass password, but I have not found a way to change their database id or password they connect with. Any ideas would be appreciated.

(Impromptu 7.3 MR1)

Thanks,

Dave, you're asking for a lot if you expect less than 4 hour turnaround time. I think I've still got the code I used two years ago to accomplish just that, but I'm not sure. How'd you get it to work, input files using Batch Manager?

I am what I am based on the decisions I have made.

DoubleD,

I was not expecting a 4 hour turnaround at all. I just got it to work in that time period myself, that's all.

I had worked on this problem abut 6 months ago and after putting about a day's effort, I was still stymied in getting it to set the database user id and password. Posting this request was based on that experience and did not contemplate that I could work through it as fast as I did.

Thanks,

Dave Griffin

Sorry Dave, I was just joking, guess I should have included an emoticon. [Ponder]
