Change image file associations??

Hey, I recently changed my network identity and have all new settings.
Now, when I try to save an image, IE automatically names them .ico or .jpe instead of .gif or .jpg

I liked having things saved as the latter - is there anyway I can get this back, short of manually typing in the file extensions I prefer every time?
