Change IE7 Fonts

I've just installed IE7 and I can't stand the wishy washy look of the fonts, how do I change it? I've looked at fonts on the tools menu but that doesn't have the option to turn off this TTF effect on the font. I'm getting a headache just typing this post!

Tools, Internet Options, Advanced, Multimedia subhead, uncheck the True Type for HTML in the first box.
