You may have to out the trunks too before making your changes????

make your changes

and then build the trks back in again

Make sure to print out your trks first though to build them back in right..

what type of trunks are these? That error you are getting indicates you are trying to assign an interface which is not supported for the trunk type.

Disable DCH ld 96
Disable Loop(s) ld 60
Out trunks ld 14
Out route ld 16
Out DCH ld 17
New DCH ld 17
New route ld 16
New trunks ld 14
Download configuration to MSDL card ld 96? Use Caution for other devices support by same MSDL card will/must be disabled.
enll loop(s) ld 60
stat DCH ld 96
go home and drink a cold one

You may be able to chg the interface type in the route (ld 16) but it's better to out and rebuild.

you do need to out the route and after you get done, before you enable the loop. ld 96 dis msdl x all, that takes down the msdl and all ports on that card, map dch will show you what your about to down. the enl msdl x fdl. that puts the change on the card. then ld 60 enll x the loop, the d will come up.. i usually build a new route, trunks and d do the upload bring the new one up and then out the old. that requires spare slots and hardware but it saves me headaches
