change from CR8 to CR9

hi, i just changed the version of CR from 8.0 to 9.0, i usually use it in VB6.0 applications.. but now that i installed CR9 all the reports i did in CR8 stopped working, i tried installing both versions in my computer but they still dont work.. i have my reports saved as .dsr, does anybody know what can i do to make them compatible? so i can open the ones i did in CR8 in CR9??

i really dont want to do all my reports all over again...

What precisely do you mean by "stopped working"?

Do you have Outer Joins in these reports?

i get all kind of errors and i cannt load the reports.
if i have the two versions installed, when i do from my ap:

Report.sqlqueryString=query

and query os perfectly defined and with the query string, it throws me an error saying that it needs a variable there..

and if i try to open the reports like adding a new report, from an existing one, i sends me an error and creates and empty report.

any ideas??
