I need to change the font of my attachment? is there a command that I could use?

Yes. I am sending an attachment form my unix box to lotus notes. The attachments font is 10 I want it to be 8. Is there a way to do this?

It is an FSG report which is in txt format.

A txt file is a txt file is a txt file -- so if it really is a txt file, there wouldn't be any font specified in the file.

I think your problem may be solved on the receiving end, not on the sending end.

(I'm not sure anyone knows what you mean by an FSG report, but if it is a txt file, the fact that is is an "FSG report" is irrelevant.)

bi:
A text file can contain font metadata -- for example, a PostScript file.

I have no idea what an "FSG report in text format" is, either. Which is why I'm asking how one specifies the font -- I'm indirectly asking whether the font can be set in the file.

slipnir214, true. But then I would have thought bgreen would have called it a PostScript file (or ps file) and not a text file (or txt file). And, I may be confusing this with bgreen's post about making a txt file into a pdf file (thread52-705593).

Thanks all. I found a tool that converts mt text file into pdf format. (ascii2pdf)
