Hi,
I have LAN with windows 2003 dc and several xp clients. All the xp clients has portable foxit reader (foxitreader.exe) in their local drive c:\program files\ . The short cut of this foxit reader has been placed on the start-menu of all users via mandatory profile.

When domain users logs on, pdf files cannot be opened by double clicking the file unless users open the foxit reader program from the start-menu first.

What I have found out is that the FILE TYPES for PDF in the xp clients (Folder Options – File Types) has no application associated with it.

How can I assign Foxit Reader for PDF file types to all xp clients.
