I know this seems like a simple question but for the moment the answer eludes me. In outlook or IE for that matter my favorites are defaulting to the wrong location. How do I change the default location of the favorites??? Thanks for the help.

You can easily change it by going into regedit and changing the path at this key:

HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders\Favorites

Thanks carrr however when I compare the values in this key between myself and the user who is defaulting to the wrong place, the settings are the same %userprofile%\favorites. You see our favorites are stored on our network drive (of course) but this user is defaulting to the generic C: drive to locate favorites (which is empty). Is there another way?? BTW I'm on a NT4 box.
