change existing greeting on miran

I am needing to change the recording assigned to channel 3 on a miran system. I am able to record a new temporary greeting, but if I try to assign it to channel 3, I get "You do not have access to this channel". I seem to be able to change channel 0 and nothing else. Is there something that is locking out my ability to make this change? If so, what do I need to do to change it? thanks

By the way....there is nothing assigned to channel 3 when I play it from menu option 3. I think I successfully unassigned the greeting with 76, but I can't add anything new to it. I can put anything I want on channel 0, but nothing on 1,2,3,4,5,6, or 7. any ideas?

strange problem. i've never tried to assign recordings through the tui interface. buy plug into the serial and try assignment there. the tui log in may be restricted for some reason

I also have had limited success using the TUI- just my clumsy fat fingering on the telephone keypad, I guess. I generally make all changes via the ip interface and so far it has been flawless.

either one the ip or the serial, they seem to work pretty good via those interfaces..
