change drive letter in Win98...

Can increase it by throwing something in front of it. Either MS configurable or using something like partition magic. Can only move it down by resetting physical position. Ed Fair

what happened to you :?
did you install a new piece of hardware
if yes remove it and then first go to Sytem property
view devices by type
research for your device & click property
setting
and change letter way down like R , S, T
from there you may start again install.
should not move the partitions letter down
now in order to define partitions and letters you need to use PQ partition magic.
