change default timeout value 1

i've seen it somewhere in help, but just can't find now. i know, that's a trivial question, but... so here it goes: how do you change the default value for "script timeout" as i have a page that generates 100+ email messages and it causes time out on some user's machines. thanks a bunch in advance!!! ---
