Change default save location in Office 2003

I would like to change the default save from MY Documents to a different folder on a different partion(drive).Kelly

Once you use the drop down menu to change the location, this remains "sticky" until changed once again.

You might find it more convenient to add to the My Places toolbar on the left side of the Save and Open dialogue:

you can also open a word doc and select tools then options then file location
you'll see file types select documents then modify and and brouse to new location
