Change default call Forward To location?

When you log into a users mailbox you can turn on call forwarding, but how do you change the default call fwd to: number? For instance a user calls into his/her mailbox and needs to turn on call fwding, but also need to update the call fwd number how is this done when you are not at a handset?

You don't do call forwarding from Vmail, you do it from the set under Capibilities.

So there is no way to turn on call forwarding remotely? I have sales users that want a way to forward their calls to their cell phone from their cell phone. We have remote access to their mailbox.

Why is there a setup/cancel call forwarding menu from the mailbox then if this can't be done?

I belive you could do remote call forwarding using DISA into the system, but I have never done it.

You can do call forwarding remotely.When either transferred to a mailbox or when the AA answers, press **<mailbox number + password> then #. When the mailbox opens you press 8 then 2 for Greetings and Call Forward options.

Let me add this to my response, this only allows call forwarding to the voice mail.

Thanks for your response. This was the feature I was inquiring about. When you go into the mailbox call forwarding options how do you change where the calls are forwarded to? There isn't an option that I can see when you are in the call fwd setup to change the ring to #?

I think what you want is the outdialing on the users mailbox. That way when the users leaves there desk they forward to voicemail.

The incoming call will get answered by the voicemail with the option to dial 9 to try the caller.

That way the user can set the outdialing number via the callpilot remotely.
