Hi, I'm using Crystal Report 9 and I'm gathering data from a MySQL database in a LAN from different computers.
It works fine when I create the DSN to connect to a database. My problem is that I need to change the MySQL server in the DSN to obtain data from other db on other computers in my LAN, but Crystal Report won't do it! Even if I change the server in the ODBC config window, test it, save it. When I verify the database in Crystal Report and refresh the report, it still points and gathers data from the old database!!!
The reason to use a DSN is exactly for that purpose! It should be sooooo easy to switch from one MySQL server to another within the DSN for Crystal report to react and get the data from the new emplacement...
anyone has an idea on how this is done? What am I doing wrong?
Thanks
Simon
